Came here upon recommendation of a friend. Food is excellent, well priced and the portions are well sized. They also have the best gluten free pizza i've ever eaten and they have gluten free pasta and can make other gluten free dishes upon request. I've been coming back once a week since my first visit and will continue to do so.

This is a wonderful local establishment with great food and friendly staff. Owner Carmine and his wife make you feel like you're part of their family. While the decor is a little dated when you first arrive, the dining room has pretty seasonal decorations, white table cloths & a scrumptious focaccia​/bread plate to share while perusing the many selections. The waiter (their son) was very attentive to our needs and managed the other tables seamlessly. The food selections are both traditional with seasonal choices for drinks, entrees and desserts. Locals know what a gem this restaurant dining experience is. You're not rushed through your meal, unlike other places. You can relax, release your stress and enjoy a home cooked meal. And so many delicious desserts to choose from. I like being part of the LaGrova family and will keep going back for more. Thanks for a great meal Friday night. Only one because it has been many years since I was here. I will go back and try it because I don't trust really really really bad reviews. I worked in centeteach for many years and we would go for lunch and birthdays many times. Never a problem. I'm retired and live in coram so I stay local. But now I will make it a point to stop there.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight and the food was amazing! Everything tasted homemade and was fresh. We’ll definitely be ordering from here again. The arancini are a must try and are some of the best I’ve had outside of Sicily.

Discovered this hidden gem tonight. We cannot believe how long it has been here without us knowing. Restaurant was small and quaint. Family owner operated business. Boneless stuffed chicken wings were amazing. I had the chicken sorrentina which was amazing. My husband enjoyed his veal parmagiana. Waiter / son Vinny was serving about 7 tables alone and had complete control, keeping each table happy and served. All around great experience

Don't judge a book by its cover. I am very picky about Italian and this place was excellent. From the calamari appetizer, to pastas, to homemade desserts. Lovely family owned/runned.

This family restaurant has never let me down. The food is top quality, delicious and always fresh. Their pizza is second to none. The entire back of their menu is devoted to the variety of pies they make and for good reason- they're the best in town.

I finally tried this place after living in lake grove for nearly 2 years. My husband and I loved the food and the service was excellent. The only thing was they had no music on so you could hear everyone's conversation during dinner which was a bit strange. Will definitely come back.

Always an enjoyable experience if you go here, the pizza is incredible, the people behind the counter are courteous, and the stuff chicken meatballs in ala vodka sauce is to die for. Absolutely incredible design, scenery and food.

Have known about La Grova for years but never tried till recently. Excellent food, sauce never gives me heartburn. Food is prepared quickly and a better value than anyone else. My new favorite Italian food spot 👍👍👍 And ziti is GREAT

Asked if they had buffalo chicken slice. Instead of saying no but I can make you one they lied said yes put hot sauce on chicken parm side of ranch in a box. It SUCKS ☹️☹️☹️ Won't be returning . Sad I live 10 houses away and my family loves Italian food

We went there after a funeral service. The room was cozy in a way and adequate. The Buffet food was very good. Everyone enjoyed the deserts which were very tasty. The service was also very good.
